South Carolina Workers Comp Premium Recovery Project

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I have to change who I'm buying my Workers Comp insurance from to be part of this project?

A:  No.  The project is not involved in selling insurance, and is not intended to involve making any change in your insurance company or your insurance agent.

Q: Who are the people administering this project?

A: The South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring this project as a follow-on to the earlier study.  The project is intended to help employers actually recover the overcharges that were discovered in the earlier study.  The work of recovering the overcharges is being done by Advanced Insurance Management LLC, an insurance consulting firm that has specialized in recovering Workers Compensation premium overcharges since 1987.

Q:  What if the project can't recover any overcharges for my company?

A: Then there is no cost or charge to your company.  The costs of the project are paid out of the contingent fees from the successful recoveries.

Q: What do I do to be part of this?

A: Send a signed copy of the contingent fee agreement, a completed and signed Letter of Direction, and and a completed and signed Letter of Authorization, and whatever policy and audit documentation you can find to the Project Coordinators at:
